We aim to provide a one-stop shop for all our customers’ requirements. Specialists in repairs, maintenance, upgrades to RIS-1530-PLT, engineering services, manufacturing, part sales and heavy haulage transport; we endeavour to provide a fully comprehensive service 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Established in 2007, Fitzgerald Rail & Construction Services have built up an outstanding and enviable reputation for delivering quality work and professional service. Our business is built on a foundation of professional service and customer focused solutions.
In 2018, Fitzgerald were awarded the maintenance contract for all Network Rail plant and assets throughout the UK. This relationship has grown from strength to strength and has propelled us to becoming market leaders within the industry, adding increasingly more assets to our maintenance portfolio and taking sequentially more orders for bespoke manufactured rail equipment.
Fitzgerald become countrywide dealers for many OEMs from 2020 onward. We now distribute, maintain, repair and service SANY Excavators, Telehandlers, Tandem Rollers, Material Handlers, Thwaites dump trucks and OKB attachments. We successfully delivered our largest contract to date in April 2024, commissioning, manufacturing and delivering 20 Mercedes Unimog units to Network Rail’s Scotland division. This project was delivered on time, and on budget due to our commitment to providing high quality project management tools within our builds, as well as boasting a large team of highly skilled engineers
Fitzgerald are now focused on growing our overseas existence across the world. We have attended various exhibitions and meetings in the Middle East, Asia, Australia, Mainland Europe, and Africa, gaining essential service partnerships, and orders for bespoke manufactured rail equipment. We aim to continue growing our overseas presence, as well as ensuring our UK service contracts are well maintained, to guarantee that our customers continue to receive the highest level of service and customer care.
